When are KRT and KL gonna figure out that 40 years ago they would have been DEI hires. Opening up the government and industry to women came slowly and painfully. Unfortunately, they are too meritless and clueless to know.

I loved all the educational experiences from the schools you mentioned and the info on ESA’s who gets them and where many of those students came from. Great newsletter! I’ve sent it on.

Just going to keep saying it: CHARTER SCHOOLS ARE PUBLIC SCHOOLS, just like government-run public schools. As a parent who had the wherewithal to educate my children in actual private schools, I was able to sidestep the challenge of attempting to educate them in the government school districts in which we lived (Creighton and Phoenix Union, boasting some of the highest property tax rates while simultaneously posting among the lowest achievement rates in the state). I also recognized how unfair it was to trap other families of lesser means in failing traditional government schools - and think one of our singular achievements in Arizona has been allowing all parents to make the best education choice for their children. As a result, I also have hope that the day will come when legacy media types are finally forced to acknowledge that pouring more money into the black hole of failing government schools (like Isaac) was a fool’s errand, akin to doing the same thing over and over and expecting to get different results.

Wow. That was quite the rant. For someone who thinks they should have the freedom to choose their child’s education you sure like to disparage others choices.
